First, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to our annual fundraiser and to all of the companies and individuals who donated items for our silent auction and raffle! The entire evening was a blast!

And now, we are pleased to announce the productions for our 2017-18 season:

Our fall show will be The Minotaur by Anna Ziegler and our spring production will be Rocket Man by Steven Dietz!

The Minotaur
By Anna Ziegler, directed by Amber Bjork
Performing at The Crane Theater
October 7 – 22, 2017
Everyone deserves a story.
Once again, Ariadne waits for Theseus to show up and kill her monstrous brother. In every telling, he heroically slays the Minotaur. But does it always have to happen that way? The Minotaur certainly hopes not. Fighting the outcome of your own myth is no easy feat but it might just be possible for a true hero.

Rocket Man
By Steven Dietz, directed by Stuart Gates
Performing at The Crane Theater
March 17 – April 1, 2018
Pack light.
Somewhere in the universe is a place where all the roads we never chose converge and Donny Rowan is hoping to find it. He’s placed everything he owns on his front lawn, along with a sign that reads: “Here’s my life. Make an offer.” Free of his possessions and ready to travel light, Donny’s obsessive quest to find what he’s missed will take him to the edge of his universe and back.

Give to the Max Day 2016 is upon us!

It’s that most wonderful, givetastic time of the year again, Give to the Max Day! This year it falls on November 17th and it’s the day that your charitable donations to Minnesota non-profits go a lot farther.

This year is no exception for Theatre Pro Rata as once again we are receiving a $3500 matching grant for all donations received. That means that every dollar you give will count twice toward helping us make critically acclaimed theater on a small budget. In addition, every donation made on the Give to the Max website enters Pro Rata for a chance to win a bonus $1,000, $5,000, or even $10,000! So give early and often.

A new feature at GiveMN this year also allows you to give a little bit extra to cover Give to the Max’s processing costs. So if you can, please consider adding on to your gift to #CoverTheFee. Conversely, you can also donate through the PayPal link on our donation page which takes a smaller fee out.

Thanks in advance, we look forward to seeing you at the theatre.
