It’s time once again for Pro Rata’s Annual Spring Gala! We’ll be hosting this gala fundraiser on April 28th at 4:30pm at the Signature Café in Minneapolis. Join us as we cheer on Pro Rata and look forward to our summer show, Emilie: The Marquis du Châtelet Defends Her Life Tonight. This celebratory evening will be full of fun; including a light buffet of chef-created appetizers, signature cocktails, science presentations by 3M’s Visiting Wizards, and raffle prizes!

Election Day and The Legend of Ulysses

As part of the Plays for Presidents festival, (at least) 44 different theatre companies, including Pro Rata, will be performing 44 Plays for 44 Presidents on Election Day this year, breaking the world record for the most simultaneous productions of a play. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting event! Check out the show page for more information or purchase your tickets now!
In addition to producing the play, each company was asked to film one section of it. Pro Rata, ever up for a challenge, chose to do Ulysses S. Grant. So, to whet your appetite for the Election Day performance of 44 Plays for 44 Presidents, we proudly present: The Legend of Ulysses.

Yes folks, another round of Theatre Pro Rata’s Playreading Series is upon us! October 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th at the Gremlin Theatre we will be read a different play each night that we’re considering for a future season. For exactly zero dollars you can come listen to these readings and offer input on whether you think the show is Pro Rata-worthy!
