Pro Rata’s 2nd Annual Online Auction

Theatre Pro Rata’s online auction rides again! From October 26th until November 3rd at noon, we will be holding an online auction full of amazing, delightful, fantastic items for you to bid on. We’ve got movie tickets, pottery, another one of those TARDIS lamps that caused such a sensation last year, and several other items.

Hosted reading of And the Universe Didn’t Blink by Claudia Haas

The Pro Rata Playreading Series is proud to host a reading of And the Universe Didn’t Blink by local playwright Claudia Haas on Tuesday, October 29th.

This is a brand new script that is in workshop and development, and we’re so excited to read it for you. Ms. Haas will be in attendance and would love to hear your feedback.

We’re happy to announce that Theatre Pro Rata has been nominated for an International Centre for Women Playwrights 50/50 Applause Award for producing a season that was at least half female playwrights! To refresh your memory our recently finished season contained Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom by Jennifer Haley and Emilie: La Marquise Du Châtelet Defends Her Life Tonight by Lauren Gunderson. We’ll find out if we won in September.

Also, Theatre Pro Rata has just received an MRAC Arts Activities Support Grant for our 2013-14 season! Hooray!

Theatre Pro Rata announces its 2013-2014 season, featuring works by Bertolt Brecht, George Brant, and William Shakespeare.

Theatre Pro Rata is thrilled to announce its 13th season of smart, vivid, varied, and gutsy programming. This season contains a diverse and riveting set of plays ranging from classical comedy to disturbing, modern drama. Pro Rata will continue in its use of a script-centric process to produce a product that engages actors and audiences alike.
